The LSG-A is the evolution version of our LSG Gearbox; proven
reliable, over 29 hours at Le Mans week!
Designed for the serious endurance racing car. Top
quality components are packaged in the best possible weight distribution
layout. Becoming the standard answer to many sports racing constructors needs.
As used by the Courage C52 Peugeot to finish Le
Mans in 4th place in 2000.
A single LSG gearbox was used for all of
qualifying and the race, with not a single component replaced. The post race
examination at the Hewland factory, revealed that the gearbox looked virtually
like new. Nothing more than a bearing track (not a hewland made part) would
need changing before the gearbox could be returned to the racing circuit for
even more use!!!!!
