Originally this was Hewland components built in to
a VW Beetle casing (See our History
page). Nowadays, the casing is made by us, in Aluminium, because many of
these gearboxes are still needed each year. We would suggest that a modern
solution such as LD 200 or FTR be used for any new car designs however.
